Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal 

Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal (Vice Chairman and Managing Director-Bharti Enterprises)

Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal is the Vice – Chairman and Managing Director of Bharti Enterprises, one of India’s leading business groups. A passionate advocate of the right to a good education, Mr. Mittal serves on the boards of several educational institutions such as the Executive Board of Indian School of Business and Punjab Education Development Board, and is a member of the “ Round Table on School Education ” for the Ministry of Human Resources Development, government of India. Mr. Mittal believes that a responsible corporation has  a duty to give back to the community in which it operates. Mr. Mittal is a Life Trustee and the Co – Chairman of Bharti Foundation, which provides free quality education for the underprivileged children in rural India through its flagship Satya Bharti School Program.

Ms. Anu Aga

Ms. Anu Aga (Director, Thermax and MP-Rajya Sabha)

Ms. Anu Aga led Thermax Ltd., the energy and environment engineering business, as its chairperson from 1996 – 2004. She took over as Chairperson of Thermax in 1996, retiring in 2004. Ms. Aga has since remained on company’s board of directors, and involved with social work. After retiring from Thermax, she took to social work, and in 2010 was awarded the Padma Shri for Social Work by the Government of India. She is currently Chairperson of Teach for India. She was nominated to RajyaSabha, the Upper House of Indian Parliament on 26th April 2012, by President Pratibha Patil.

Mr. Amit Chandra

Mr. Amit Chandra (Managing Director-Bain Capital)

Mr. Amit Chandra is Managing Director of Bain Capital and responsible for the firm’s India initiative. Mr. Chandra has previously served as Managing Director, Board Member & Head of Global Markets & Investment Banking at DSP Merrill Lynch, India’s leading investment bank. He is also active in India’s not for profit space and serves as a Trustee / Board Member of the Akansha Foundation (providing education to less privileged children) and GiveIndia (India’s leading philanthropic exchange). Amit was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2007. Mr. Chandra holds an M.B.A in Finance and Strategy from Boston College and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from VJTI, Bombay University and was awarded the “ Best Graduating Student ” award.

Mr. Ajay Relan

Mr. Ajay Relan is the Founder and Managing Partner at CX Partners. He served as the Head of Private Equity Venture in India at Citibank N.A. since 1995. Mr. Relan founded Citibank N.A. and served as the Managing Director of Citigroup Venture Capital International in India, Citigroup International India and Citigroup Investments India. Mr. Relan completed his Owner / President Management Programme from Harvard Business School. He holds an M.B.A. from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and graduated with a B.A. Honors in Economics from St. Stephens College, University of Delhi.

Mrs. Nirmala Tandon

Mrs. Nirmala Tandon (CEO, IIMPACT)

Mrs. Nirmala Tandon had a highly successful teaching career of 17 years at Delhi Public School, which she gave up to join IIMPACT in February 2005, purely on an honorary basis. At the school, in addition to teaching, her responsibilities included conducting workshops and teacher training for newly opened DPS schools. During all these years, she also was a senior PGT history teacher, overall coordinator, head of the department, visiting faculty member to DPS schools and staff welfare incharge. She is the driving force behind IIMPACT’s day-to-day activities. Her careful planning, systematic implementation, hard work and sheer dedication have resulted in the rapid growth of IIMPACT.

Mr. Deepak Shriram

Mr. Deepak Shriram (Chairperson, Shriram Automotive Products Ltd)

Mr. Deepak Shriram served as Senior Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Shriram Pistons And Rings Limited. Mr. Shriram served as Manager of DCM Ltd., Delhi. Mr. Shriram currently is the chairperson at Shriram Automotive Products Ltd. Mr. Shriram has also served on the board of SOS Children’s Villages, India for six years and continues to be closely associated with the organization.

Mr. S Sandilya

Mr. S. Sandilya served as the Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eicher Ltd., since 2000. He has been at Eicher group since 1975 in various capacities. Mr. Sandilya also serves as Director of Indore Management Association and is also an Executive Committee Member of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers and a Governing Council member of the Automobile Research Association of India. He served as Treasurer of All India Management Association for the period 1998 – 2000 and is a member of its Governing Council. Mr. Sandilya is a Commerce Graduate from Chennai University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is President of SOS Childrens’ Villages, India.

Mr. Amit Aggarwal

Mr. Amit Aggarwal (Senior VP – Training & Development, Genpact)

Mr. Amit Aggarwal is Senior Vice-president and Global leader – Training & Development at Genpact. Mr. Aggarwal has contributed to various business functions at Genpact as a Recruitment leader, Quality leader, and Global SEP leader responsible for leading the conceptualisation, creation, prototyping and piloting of Genpact’s Smart Enterprise Process methodology. Mr. Aggarwal is an alumnus of IIMA and began his career at Andersen Consulting followed by Accenture, before joining Genpact in 1999. In his current capacity, he also oversees CSR and Diversity/Inclusion for the company.

Dr. Kiran Modi

Dr. Kiran Modi (Hon. Managing Trustee, Udayan Care)

After teaching English to undergraduate students at Delhi University, Dr. Kiran Modi decided to foray into community services. She launched Delhi’s first community weekly newspaper The Neighborhood Star in 1986, with a consistent print run of 10,000 copies. On the 7th of February 1994 she founded Udayan Care India. Udayan is a Sanskrit word signifying ‘Eternal Sunrise’. Her aim is to bring sunshine into the lives of the disadvantaged. Udayan Care provides quality care to disadvantaged children and women, expanding its horizons to reach out to the underserved sections of society that need interventions. Kiran has co – authored a series of five books for primary education. Her work in publications and social work has earned her many accolades and awards, including the Karamveer Puraskar and Ph.D Chamber of Commerce Award for excellence in Community Work.
