India Positive Awards

Shoshit Seva Sangh was given the ‘India Positive Award’ by CNN-IBN. Out of the approximately 240 NGOs covered in ‘India Positive’ segment during 2011-12, nine NGOs were selected by a panel for outstanding work in various sectors. First Givers Club Summit 2012 Celebrating Giving
The FGC Summit 2012 was held at the Trident, BKC on 5th October 2012. The Summit was attended by over 50 First Givers Club Members along with 6 founders/CEOs of interesting NGOs. The keynote speaker for the day was Mr. Ajay Piramal, well known Philanthropist and Industrialist who talked about his personal vision of Philanthropy and why he does what he does. Read more…

Special Wedding Gift!

On the occasion of their daughter’s wedding and as per their daughters wish, FGC member couple, channeled the wedding money towards an NGO that promotes vocational training to girls. The wedding was kept on a low budget and the NGO today has more than enough funds to expand its reach to many more vulnerable girls out of employment!

We wish the young couple a happy wedded life!
