Mr. Ujwal Thakar
Ujwal Thakar has worked for 28 years in the corporate sector as a banker and 8 years in the social sector. He had started and headed retail banking business at Standard Chartered, Times Bank (now HDFC) and BNP Paribas in India. He made a shift to social sector in 2002 as the CEO of Pratham India Education Initiative which is India’s largest NGO in the elementary education space. In the year 2008 he took over as the CEO of GiveIndia.
